How to Play

Claim Your Place

Players take turns placing one of their flasks on an open organelle to either collect molecules or to convert them into more complex molecules. Once a flask is placed on a spot, other players cannot place their flask there for the remainder of the round!

Build Your Cell

Players collect Cell Component cards, like enzymes and hormones, that exchange molecules for health points. Players can choose Goal Cards, which give players boosts for building certain Cell Components!

Score Points to Win

After players have placed all of their flasks, a new Event Card is revealed and players collect their flasks to begin the new round. The player with the most health points at the end of the game wins!

Antibody Dice

EXPANSION COMPONENTS SOLD SEPERATELY FROM THE BASE GAME OR IN A BUNDLE: 5 antibody dice for the virus expansion. When a virus event card is flipped or purchased, all players must roll a set amount antibody dice based on their health markers to determine their Antibody Response

Cytosis Cubes

Each set includes 16 mRNA resources (black cubes), 18 Protein resources (red cubes), 15 Carbohydrate resources (green cubes) and 15 Lipid resources (yellow cubes). Use these resources to build enzymes, hormones, and receptors to score health points!

STRATEGIC PLAY – Cytosis is a worker placement game that takes place inside a human cell! Players take turns placing flasks on available organelles within a human cell in order to collect resources or take actions to build enzymes, hormones, and hormone receptors and detoxify the cell.
